I have heard this referred to as Duel Stage or Duel Station. The later makes more sense to me but is less original.

Places to play - Monopoly Cheongju
Located in Cheongju is the Monopoly Board Game cafe. Close to "Buy The Way" if that is any help.
Most important is the fact they do have one of those hammer things that seem essential for board game play in Korea.
Thankfully I have never seen Magic players use them. I guess Magic players are just a better class of people.

Building the Cube - Step 1
I have taken the first step in building a cube for unlimited drafting.
My collection is dominated by Theros thanks to the weekly drafts so it may start of as just a Theros cube which would be pretty dull since that would just be like a regular draft but without the chance of opening cool cards to keep.
I am a few rares/mythics of a full set though and really want to use my Thoughtseizes elsewhere and I am not sure how comfortable I would just letting random people use my cube if it has cards in it that are expensive and important to me. A Theros cube without the big money cards ... boring!
There is an excellent series on Brainstorm Brewery about building a cube for under $200 (it's too small for 8 players though) which might be my go to guide. There are some really interesting and powerful cards in that cube but nothing over a few dollars. Cards like Balance and Control Magic are really cheap and ridiculous.
My other idea is to perhaps aim for a modern masters based cube. That was the most cube like set I have played and largely doable over time. If I had my old pre Korea collection (since sold) I probably could have built that already. If they confirmed Modern masters 2 was coming and there would be a decent amount of stock then I would be all over it.
I will see how far I can get with the cards I own and a bit of trading but an order to Card Kingdom may be on the cards when i get back from Australia and have my job situation settled.

This Week in Korean Magic - December 12th
Dalmuti will be hosting an English card Theros draft at 2:00 pm this Sunday.
The event afterwards will be EDH grand Melee or just EDH free for all. Regardless, just make sure you bring your EDH deck for lots of good times.
A lot of people have just the latest pre cons plus a few cards while I just jammed random blue and black cards together until I got a 100 and it remains completely untested. So don't be shy, get amongst it.
The week after (December 22) will hopefully be a 2HG draft.

This Week in Korean Magic - December 6th
Introducing an all new segment ... that will soon be neglected and die.
This Week in Korean Magic!
I'm not going to pretend this will even scratch the surface of what is going on throughout the peninsula. In fact my initial idea is just to provide info in regards to the next English card draft in Suwon.
Last week at Dalmuti we had a back draft once the regular 2:00 pm Theros draft finished. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. There are plans to have another one but not straight away.
This week (December the 8th) there will be standard once the 2:00 pm draft is finished.
If you are interested in commander I am sure you can find an opponent pretty much every week from about 6:00 pm (Sunday). Probably earlier as the amount of drafters and non drafting entourage grows each week.
Apparently Dive Dice in Hongdae is changing/changed it's name to Rolling dice.
